Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish.
2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it into smaller pieces. Add the diced onion and cook until soft.
3. Spread the beef and onion mixture in the pie dish and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Bisquick mix, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper until smooth. Pour over the beef and cheese.
5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and a knife inserted comes out clean.
6. Allow to cool for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serve warm with optional toppings.
Notes
For a healthier version, substitute ground turkey or chicken. You can also add vegetables for extra flavor.
