Essential Ingredients

  • 4 cups Frozen Corn You can also use fresh corn from about five ears.
  • 4 tablespoons Salted Butter Unsalted butter can be used if preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese Adds creaminess and tang.
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper To taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Chives or Scallions Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • 1. Heat a large nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt, swirling to coat the bottom.
  • 2. Add the frozen corn to the skillet and stir to coat in the butter. Cook for 8-10 minutes until tender and slightly golden.
  • 3. Reduce heat to low, stir in honey, cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until creamy and well combined, about 5 minutes.
  • 4. Stir in chives or scallions for added flavor.
  • 5. Serve immediately, garnished with additional chives or scallions if desired.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute butter with plant-based butter and honey with agave syrup or maple syrup.
